Salman Khan, well known for his philanthropic nature has now pledged to donate his bone marrow. The actor taking a stance to create consciousness on stem cell donation and urging people to come forward for the same said,"It's simple to donate bone marrow. You don't have to spend money for it. I think everybody should go and donate bone marrow.”
Bone marrow transplant helps to patients suffering from blood related diseases like thalassemia, congenital immuno-deficiency, aplastic anemia and blood cancer.
Salman further said,"Do it for yourself. God forbids if you ever require bone marrow, then people who think like you will also donate bone marrow for you. So, it will be easy for you to find one.”
