41 year old Hollywood actress Salma Hayek is set to marry her billionaire fiance Francois Henri Pinault in an extravagant $3.5million wedding next year. The Mexican actress met the French billionaire in April 2006 though their romance became public only in 2007. The couple announced their engagement and Hayek’s pregnancy last year. This was followed by the two becoming the proud parents of daughter Valentina in September 2007.
The 46-year-old French boss of fashion houses Gucci, Yves St. Laurent and Balenciaga struggled for over a year to get Salma to agree to marry him. The French billionaire hence now does not wish to spare any expense to make the wedding look really memorable. According to sources, the wedding will mark five day celebrations at France’s St.Tropez. The couple is expected to fly their friends in on private jets and put them in luxury resorts. Almost $1million is expected to be spent on flowers and $500,000 on the wedding dress.
