One of the most beautiful actresses of Hollywood, Salma Hayek dropped her dream of space travel to fulfil the duties of motherhood. Hayek, 43 who has a two year old daughter, Valentina with husband Henri Pinault was supposed to travel with Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic team.
But, the actress abandoned her dream after becoming mother because she is not ready to take any safety risk.
Salma Hayek quoted, "I love scuba diving and used to dive where the sharks were, and now no more sharks. Everything became about the baby. You are in second position, or third... My dream was to go into space. I reserved my place with the Virgin (Galactic) expedition. And then I got pregnant. And now I'm a mother. So I'm not going to go."
The ‘Desperado’ actress married PPR CEO François-Henri Pinault on April 25, 2009 in Paris and then again exchanged the vows for a second time in Venice.
