Saif Ali Khan has been in the industry for very long now and he would never do such a film where his ideas are not respected. Something similar happened when Saif walked out of Vishal’s film ‘Dream’.

Before Saif, it was Shahid who was cast for the role, but even he quit the movie, the reason was speculated to be the presence of Kareena in the lead actress role. Later, Saif was approached for the same.

Saif initially liked the script and his role, but later he requested for certain changes in it, but an adamant Vishal couldn’t do it and even there were speculations that Shahid can also be brought again if Saif has issues.

Sources add, “Bhardwaj is a director who sticks to his script and vision. Often, many actors are apprehensive and nervous before signing up for a character in Bhardwaj’s films. Saif was miffed with Bhardwaj for casting Shahid, who happens to be Kareena Kapoor’s ex-boyfriend.”

Saif thought that the plot of the movie somehow resembles the recent Hollywood release ‘Inception’ and so he wanted some changes in the movie, but Vishal told that he was ready with ‘Dream’ script much before the English flick got released. Ultimately, left without any choice, Saif also walked out of it.
