The family of Sahil Saheed came down from Britain to visit his grandmother in Jhelum, in Pakistan's Punjab province and unfortunately, the child was nabbed at the gun point by international gangster from there.

Initially, the kidnappers have made a heavy demand of about £80,000 to which his father Raja Naqqash Saeed declined as he stated that he does not have such a huge amount to give them. In retaliation to this Punjab province's law minister, Rana Sanaullah, yesterday mentioned that Mr Saeed must have made an arrangement of ransom after negotiating with them while returning back to Britain.

The captivated kid  was found released in an abandoned area behind a school in Gujarat district, where villagers handed him over to the police. According to the officer’s report, a large ‘ransom’ must have been paid to settle the issue with the kidnappers. The confirmation of Saheel’s release was reported by Britain's High Commissioner to Pakistan.

In a conversation to Islamabad authority by the British High Commissioner, Adam Thomson mentioned, "Although a little tired, Sahil has been in good spirits. He has also spoken to his mum and dad on the telephone this morning."

After hearing of Saheel’s release at 4.40 am yesterday, the overjoyed  boy's mother, Akila Naqqash stated, "I'm overjoyed, over the moon. I spoke to my little boy this morning. Straight away he heard my voice he said 'mummy, mummy, I've got some new toys.' He was just a normal little boy.”

This little boy of Oldham, Greater Manchester has become the focus of the world's media after his twelve days captivation.

The investigation team who were in the trace of the child stated, "Calls were traced to Spain. There was an element of settlement of long-standing debts."

The strange part of the child is that is he is very much aloof  about the entire kidnap case and to this his mother stated, “I was gobsmacked when I spoke to him. He had been held for 13 long days but he spoke to me like nothing had happened. He said, 'Mummy, are my toys safe? I am going to bring everyone presents, I going to buy them presents for when I come home'."

In the great delight of his arrival the parent of Saheel is planning to throw a big party, his mother stated, "We have got permission for a big party at school and he will be happy to see all his friends and teachers. We are grateful for everything. We can't wait to have him back."
