By now we have got used to seeing the Indian master blaster Sachin Tendulkar endorsing products in television and print advertisements, now get ready to see him make his Bollywood debut too. Sources inform that cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is going to play a cameo in the forthcoming film Vighnaharta Shri Siddhivinayak that is based on the miracles of the elephant-headed Hindu deity Ganesh.
In this film Tendulkar is going to play himself and one hears that he will do so for free. ‘A devotee of Ganesh, Tendulkar offered to be a part of the project and will not be charging for the role’, stated Rajiv Sanghvi whose company is handling the film's production. He further added that the Tendulkar will be playing a short role as himself and that he will feature either in a song sequence or in an actual scene.
