International cricket sensation Sachin Tendulkar has decided to work for UNICEF.

Indian master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has decided to be a part of UNICEF's Global Handwashing Day scheduled to be held on October 15, 2008. The main motive of organizing Global Handwashing Day is to get Indian children to wash their hands for better health and hygiene. Tendulkar-featured promotional advertisement will be broadcasted in 14 languages on television channels across the country. This campaign planned to spread awareness among the students of six million schools across the country will be telecasted through out the whole month of October.  
 
According to UNICEF Representative in India, Karin Hulshof, the presence of Sachin Tendulkar will make the campaign very successful. His demonstration of washing hands with soap will definitely motivate thousands of kids which will keep them away from diseases. Talking about the campaign, Tendulkar said that he was very eager to be a part of such campaign. The father of two children stated that washing hands with soap is very essential as it protects one from deadly diseases.
