Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s Jewelry in ‘Guzaarish’ Becomes A Brand  Aishwarya Rai |
Fashion designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed the jewelry line for Ash in ‘Guzaarish’, now the line has become a brand in its own, designed by Sabyasachi, crafted by GAJA and retailed by Shree Ganesha Jewelry House.
The jewelry line made a successful debut from the movie and the designer’s idea was to make the jewelry pieces keeping in mind the multi-cultural elements with a nomadic vibe. Ash wore a navratan necklace in the climax, she also wore rain drop earrings, coral kanpashas, rhodolite balis, butterfly earrings and minakri bird ring.
Sachi said in a statement, “When Sanjay Leela Bansali approached me for `Guzaarish`, I realized that jewelry would play a very important role in shaping up Sophia`s character as played by Aishwarya Rai.”
The price range of the jewelry pieces starts from Rs 40,000 to more than 5 lakhs.
