SAB, a part of the Sony Entertainment Television, has been revamped as a round the clock comedy channel. The non-comedy contents of the SAB TV channel will soon be swapped with a number of rib-tickling programmes such as the US series 'Home Improvement' and 'My Wife and Kids'. A brand new comedy soap titled 'Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki' will begin being telecast from Thursday onwards to commemorate the re-launch of the SAB with a fresh format and feel. 

Anooj Kapoor, senior Vice President SAB remarked that this channel will crucially thrive on comedy content, of which different flavors will be put on offer 24x7. Kapoor also hoped that theirs would probably be the only 24-hour comedy channel in the country as most others are based on soaps. Talking about SAB’s new comedy serial, Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki, the SAB TV vice-president said, ‘All other comedies before were episodic, this is the first daily comedy with a definite progressive story line that can be a replacement for the daily family soaps.’
