Russia’s Buvaysa Saytiev wins a gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Wrestling Men’s freestyle 74kg keeping Russia’s on the roll. Saytiev defeating Soslan Tigiev of Uzbekistan 0-1, 1-0, 3-1 claimed the gold medal on Wednesday, August 20. This win has brought Russia’s tally of gold medals in wrestling to a count of five. Beijing Olympics 2008 is Saytiev fourth time participation at the Olympic event with a tally of three gold medals already in his kitty, being the first person of this stature. He won his first Olympic gold medal in this category in Atlanta and made it to the top of the dais again in Athens. The bronzes were won by Murad Gaidarov of Belarus and Kiril Terziev of Bulgaria.
