Rajasthan Royals continue their ruthless march in the Indian Premier League. Helped by a magnificent all-round performance by Shane Watson, Rajasthan Royals vanquished Delhi Daredevils by 105 runs to storm into the final of the Indian Premier League on Friday in Mumbai.
Asked to bat first by Virender Sehwag, Rajasthan Royals put up a brilliant batting display to pile up 192 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Shane Watson once again shone with the bat and blasted his way to a 29-ball 52, which included three sixes and four fours. Swapnil Asnodkar and Yusuf Pathan also chipped in with useful contributions to ensure that their side put up a challenging total on the board.
Chasing the mammoth total, Delhi Daredevils were pushed on the backfoot once again by Shane Watson who broke the backbone of the Delhi batting ripping through the top-order. With Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan back in the pavillion, Delhi looked completely out of the match.
