Rolta India Limited, an engineering and geospatial services company, has acquired WhittmanHart Consulting (WHC), a management and technology consulting services firm based in Chicago. Neither of the companies has, however, revealed the value of this acquisition deal.

WhittmanHart Consulting happens to be the consulting division of WhittmanHart Inc, the digital communications and process improvement solutions provider. WHC boasts of catering to hundreds of clients across numerous industries and this includes many Fortune 500 companies also. The partners of the WHC include Oracle, Business Objects, Cognos, CA and HP.

As per the market experts, the newest acquisition of Rolta India Limited will embed it more firmly than ever before, for proffering customers complete end-to-end continuum of services. The net profit of Rolta’s increased by 4.1 per cent to Rs 50.83 Crore, while sales rose 58 per cent to 3.2 billion rupees for the quarter to June.
