Having achieved their previous year's target easily, the company is positive about selling around 20 units in India this year. Rolls-Royce director (sales and marketing) Graeme Grieve, said, 'We have till now crossed last year's number and hope to sell between 16-20 units in India this year.
The Rolls Royce Company, which is UK based, sold 1,010 cars globally in 2007. At present, three models from the Phantom family will be put out for sale in India - Phantom, Phantom Extended Wheelbase and Phantom Drophead Coupe. They will carry a price tag ranging from Rs.3.15 crore (Rs.31.5 million) to Rs.3.55 crore (Rs.35.5 million) or a little over $750,000.
