Robin Gibb was stunned when he heard of his twin brother Maurice's death - because he didn't even know his sibling was in hospital.
The late Bee Gees star was hospitalised in 2003 in a bid to mend a twisted intestine, but fell into a coma and died following complications during the procedure.
His twin Robin was left in shock when he received a phone call to tell him his brother had fallen into a coma prior to his death - as he had no idea his sibling needed medical attention.
He tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "I got a phone call from his assistant, saying he was in a coma. I was like, 'What do you mean? When did he go into hospital?' I was in shock. How could this have happened?
"I think about Maurice at unpredictable times. I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about him. One is a twin for life. I find it incredible that he's no longer alive."
