American singer Courtney Love has called the rumours ‘stupid’ which stated that she has chosen Robert Pattinson to portray Kurt Cobain in the biopic.
Courtney Love quoted, "Isn't that so stupid, who would cast him? That's just wrong, no offence. I watched the 'Twilight' stuff very, very recently and I get it, it resonates with the teenage girl in me, I understand epic love of that nature; I write about it all the time. But isn't that silly?"
Courtney Love who married late Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain insisted that she will not participate in the full production process of the flick but will decide the casting and the script.
Love said she hopes her friend and producer Trudie Styler (wife of Sting) will act as her ‘substitute’ to ensure that the movie is done right.
Love met Cobain in 1990 and they married in 1992. However, in 1994 Cobain was found in his Seattle, Washington home, killed by a self inflicted shotgun wound to his head. They couple have a daughter together called Frances Bean Cobain.
