One will surely be dumbfounded upon knowing who the literary giant Salman Rushdie is wooing these days! The answer is Riya Sen. One hears that the two of them are in frequent touch over the phone and that Salman Rushdie has even invited Sen over to spend some ‘quality time’ with him. The actress is reportedly thrilled but is still mulling over the proposal. Salman Rushdie was in Mumbai during January this year after separating from Padma Lakshmi and sources inform he along with Riya Sen quite made a pair together. The two of them are in touch at least four times a week through email or phone.

While Sen keeps him updated on her film projects, Rushdie talks about his travels and newest experiences. Their relationship is infact turning out to be the talk of the town. ‘Yes, I’ve been invited. Rushdie and I are in regular touch,’ Riya Sen is heard to have remarked recently. 

However, there is also another version to this story, as per which it is the mother of the Sen sisters ‘Moon Moon’ in whom Salman Rushdie is actually interested. Literary agent Clarissa Luard, writer Robyn Davidson and writer Marianne Wiggins happen to be some of the ex-flames of Salman Rushdie.
