R&B singer Rihanna has admitted that her brief romance with rapper Drake was supposed to end as she was not ready to venture into any serious relationship when she met him after being assaulted by her ex-beau Chris Brown.
The singer said that she was still recovering from the horrifying incident when she met Drake in May.
In 2009, it was rumoured that the 24-year old was in a relationship with Rihanna. However, both parties denied the reports, with Graham insisting ‘we're just good friends’.
"I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is - it was what it was. We didn`t want to take it any further," Rihanna said.
"It was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn`t want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time," she added.
Rihanna is currently dating baseball star Matt Kemp.
