The European patents office has leaked curvaceous Renault Mégane before the Paris Auto Show. The new car is built on a revised version of the current Mégane’s platform. With the latest leak out, people by now have known a lot about the production-ready three-door hatchback car. To give it a curvaceous look its traditional look of squared tailgate has been deserted.

 

The car which was expected to be unveiled at Paris Auto Show has some attractive features. Its engine is a carbon efficient one (comprise six dCi engines) and its three out of six engines will emit less than 120g/km of CO2. These have power outputs ranging between 84bhp and 160bhp. Petrol power will start with a 99bhp 1.6-litre unit, peaking with 1.4-litre turbo TCe generating 178bhp.

 

Accordingly, Renaultsport versions of Megane will come up with both petrol and diesel engines. The major suspicion is about the interior design of the car as reports say that the question is still not clear whether car will follow the blueprint of the exterior or not. However, according to auto industry experts, in the wake of Paris Auto Show, car manufacturers may come up with official pictures and specs any time.
