Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s electricity generating arm, Reliance Power, has registered a net profit of Rs.70.53 crore for the second quarter of the 2009-10 fiscal which ended on Sep 30, which about 49.39% up from the net profit during the like period last fiscal.
Total income of the company has been reported at Rs.101.2 crore in the quarter under review as against the Rs.64.06 crore of the Q2 of 2008-09 fiscal.
Consolidated net profit for the group was Rs.194.53 crore in the quarter as compared to Rs.37.2 crore a year earlier.
Total consolidated income for the quarter has been reported to be Rs.246.15 crore when compared to the Rs.56.96 crore in the year-ago period.
