The Supreme Court will Tuesday begin hearing of the dispute between the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries and Anil Ambani-led Reliance Natural Resources Ltd over supply of gas from the Krishna-Godavari basin.

The Anil Ambani company wants to secure 28 million units of gas a day from the Krishna-Godavari basin for 17 years at $2.34 per unit and got a favourable verdict from the Bombay High Court in June.

Reliance Industries has challenged this in the Supreme Court.

The Anil Ambani group has also objected to the marketing margin that Reliance Industries is levying on the gas, over and above the price formulae of the government.
