India’s apex court has resumed the legal dispute between Anil Ambani and Mukesh Ambani over the supply and pricing of gas available from the KGF basin afresh on Thursday. The hearing had been suspended after Justice Raveendran and yet another Supreme Court judge quit the case, citing personal reasons.
The dispute is currently being heard by a three-member bench led by Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan. The other members include Justice B. Sudarshan Reddy and Justice P. Sathasivam.
With the hearing of the high profile legal dispute beginning afresh, RIL counsel Harish Salve raised more organised arguments before the bench in favour of his client.
To begin with, Salve submitted a 25-page-long note detailing the genesis of the dispute to the bench.
