After the IIFA awards in Sri Lanka, the ‘Ready’ lead actor, super star Salman Khan was mulling over to shoot in the astounding place.
The pre-decided location for the movie was Mauritius, but Salman could not overcome his splendid IIFA awards experience. He desperately wanted the shooting place to be relocated to Lanka.
But, it was not as easy as it sounds, the SIFCC made large hues and cries on attending of IIFA awards by Bollywood stars in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The reason was the merciless killing of hundreds of Tamilians in the place.
In fact, SIFCC also banned the movies of stars in the five southern states, who attended the IIFA function like Hrithik and Salman.
On these lines, the controversy and protests were on and the shooting of the film was on hold since a long time.
Now, the shooting has finally begun. Sources add, “Bazmee sent his crew to look for resort and jungle location which he wanted to shoot. The director liked what they shot and decided to seek permissions from the Lankan government.”
‘Ready’ is directed by Anees Bazmi , produced by T-series and Asin stars opposite to Salman Khan, the first shooting is put under a slab of 10-15 days.
