Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen-Sharma may be completely hush hush about their love life, but the latest buzz is that the two have got engaged. That something’s surely brewing was quite clear from the recent statement of Ranvir Shorey, who quipped, ‘It’s a personal choice. We like to keep our personal life away from the limelight. All I can say is I’m very content with my life and career.’ The VJ turned actor rather preferred talking about his impending films, one of which is Mira Niar’s How Can It Be. It also stars girlfriend Konkona.   

Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen-Sharma have previously starred in a couple of films together like Mixed Doubles themed on wife-swapping and Madhur Bhandarkar’s Traffic Signal. Shorey clearly is very excited about doing How Can It Be, which is another of the Mira’s woman centric flicks and has been shot in New York. ‘Konkona plays the central character, but my role is no less pivotal,’ Ranvir underscores. One hears that the particular role went to Ranvir Shorey after Mira’s favorite Irrfan Khan turned it down. Working with Konkona is a hassle free affair for Ranvir Shorey. ‘It’s an advantage to work with a friend. You can speak your mind freely without the fear of offending the other party,’ explains Shorey.
