Deepika Padukone’s arm candy, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to have an unusual pairing in a film to be directed by actress Kajol’s cousin. Ranbir will now be seen romancing two time National Award winning actress Konkona Sen Sharma, in debutant Ayaan Mukherjee’s film. Ayaan has already assisted Ashutosh Gowariker in ‘Swades’ and Karan Johar in ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’.
The untitled film will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. According to a source, the moment Karan read the script of the film, he fell in love with it and agreed to produce it. The film will be a Mumbai based romance about urban relationships.
