Bollywood’s favorite chocolate boy, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the new look of a statue in his forthcoming movie ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’. The film directed by Rajkumari Santhosh casts Katrina Kaif in the lead female role.

 

The film has interesting sequences, which will cast Ranbir as a stone statue. In the later part, the actor is shown discovering that the statue resembles him exactly.

 

Director Santoshi says, "When I explained to Ranbir the scenes, he was extremely enthusiastic about turning into a statue. Even though the entire process of becoming one was tedious and painful. Once in make-up, Ranbir could only stand, there was no way he could even sit, forget lying down for those long hours. He had to keep on standing till all the shots were canned. Yet, he went through the paces with great zest."

 

Vikram Gaikwad is the make-artist who is to be credited for this terrific make over. The entire make up session took four hours and finally Ranbir had the exact look of a stone statue. As per a unit source, "After the grueling shoot, all that Ranbir could think was to move around. The freedom to move around after having stood like a stone at one place put him on a different high."

 

Ranbir is proving himself versatile by taking up so many challenges at such early stages of his career. Good going, Ranbir!
