This will be the first ever world concert of Ranbir Kapoor and he will be touring 16 cities across US and Europe. This event is scheduled for the next year and the event will be produced by Morani brothers.
The concert will begin in June 2011 and will end till July last. The concert will begin in the US and will cover 16 places across the cities in Europe. This is the first concert which Ranbir is going to take part in.
Rishi Kapoor confirms the news and adds, "Ranbir is going on a world tour next year. All the details have been worked out. I have done some 300-odd shows around the world, some of them with the Moranis, so it's like a new innings for us."
Ranbir Kapoor also called Chintu in his family says that it is the right time to go on the concert as he has a plethora of his songs to perform on.
He adds, “You can't just go on a world concert. It was important to have a bank of songs to perform on. Now that he's a few films old and has some chartbusters to his credit it's the right time."
Even dad Rishi Kapoor will also accompany him in the concert and he adds, “don't know how long I would be able to travel with him. But I definitely will be there with him for the first concert. Ranbir has refrained from performing at award shows or public events, so he would be rehearsing a lot for this concert."
The hunt for roping the other big stars is also on and as of now Katrina and Priyanka have been confirmed. Presently, the theme and concept of the tour is being worked on.
