Ranbir Kapoor refused to endorse a fairness cream brand recently because he believes it to be an irresponsible thing to do.

 

The actor knows that he is quite popular among the youngsters and so, he didn’t want them to be misguided by giving statements that the creams improve the skin colour. He feels that promoting a fairness brand is like supporting racism.

 

A source revealed, "Ranbir knows that there may be many who would end up blindly following what he does. He does not want to misguide anyone by saying that fairness creams 'improve your skin'”.

 

Another source said, "He only endorses products that he believes in."

 

Though his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone is the brand ambassador of a fairness product, the actor strongly refused to be a part of it.
