Rajasthan Royals will go one on one with Kolkata Knight Riders at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur today. On papers the Rajasthan Royals looked the weakest team in the IPL, but they have performed extremely well to win 3 out of their 4 matches. The Kolkata Knight Riders on the other hand had started their campaign in an eventful way, winning their first two matches. However they have lost two consecutive matches and the Kolkata team will look to win this one to improve their situation in the points table. Kolkata are lying at the fourth spot whereas Rajasthan Royals are at the third spot.

 

The heat in Jaipur is sure to take its toll on the players and the team which adapts to the conditions faster will have an upper hand. Kolkata will be without Brendon McCullum who gave them a blistering start in their opening match against Bangalore Royal Challengers. Still, Kolkata has got an impressive batting line up with the likes of Sourav Ganguly, Salman Butt, Brad Hodge and David Hussey The bowling line up also looks good with Ishant Sharma, Ajit Agarkar and Umar Gul. The Rajasthan Royals on the other hand will depend on Graeme Smith, Yousuf Pathan, Shane Watson, Mohammad Kaif and Ravindra Jadeja to give them a good score. The bowling equally looks impressive with the presence of Warne, Sohail Tanvir and Munaf Patel. Meanwhile the Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and have elected to bat first.
