Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi has kicked off his three-day Tamil Nadu tour on Tuesday. This tour is an attempt for giving Congress a total revamping in the state.
His tour is packed with a series of meetings, mainly addressing the youth and hopping from one town to another.
Rahul, who will be landing in Nagercoil today, will address the youth wing members. He will also have an interaction with the young fishermen.
From there he will move to Tirunelveli and Virudhunagar where he will interact with the youth wing members as well as the students of the Madurai Kamaraj University. He will also speak at the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes conference.
On Sep 9, Rahul will be meeting the farmers and party workers at Thanjavur and Vellore. After meeting the students of the Vellore Christian Medical College, Rahul will move to Chennai for participating in the TNCC executive meeting on the same day.
Back in Chennai, he will interact with the students of Anna University and later participate at a party function at the state Congress headquarters. He will also meet owners and editors of newspapers.
On September 10, he would meet youth Congressmen at Salem, Krishnagiri and Coimbatore, before which he will address a press conference in Chennai.
