Quickgun Murugan, which has taken inspiration from Yaana Rascala sequence in Om Shanti Om, where Shahrukh Khan has imitated Rajnikant, is scheduled to hit the silver screens on August 28.
The film is about a superhero who is a combo of a Western cowboy (Clint Eastwood) and the glamour of a South Indian superstar. The character, which is created by a music channel, is coming as a feature film, based on the adventures of a 'sambhar cowboy' called Quickgun Murugan.
Rajendra Prasad, a veteran Telugu actor, is donning this quirky character in an upmarket English film. Director Shashank Ghosh, who had directed 'Waisa bhi hota hai -part 2' said the flick also marks the return of actress Rambha.
Her character called 'Mango Dolly', is a blonde hot seductress who is actually a gangster moll, modern day Barbie doll. She has been provided with a special look, to enhance her character.
