Indian engineering and construction company Punj Lloyd on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, declared that its fully owned subsidiary Punj Lloyd Pte Ltd has clinched an order from the FWP of Singapore. It informed that the order is worth $37.7 million or Rs 1.7 billion.

 

FWP happens to be a joint venture between Foster Wheeler Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and Worley Parsons Pte Ltd. A statement issued by the company informed that Punj will undertake mechanical works on utilities in Jurong Island, Singapore under this project. The Punj Lloyd Ltd holds specialization in energy and infrastructure segments. The Middle East, Africa, the Caspian, Asia Pacific and South Asia are places where it has its operations.
