Film aficionados in Delhi can attend the ongoing Public Service Broadcasting Trust's (PSBT) film festival at the India Habitat Centre that kicked off on September 12, 2008. Be prepared for a mixed flavor as this PSBT film festival brings together 50 documentaries from both national and international arena on an array of issues like gender, sexuality and reproductive rights.

The 2008 PSBT film festival has been titled as the Open Frame and is slated to conclude on September 20, 2008. The films being showcased have been picked up from countries like Sweden, Palestine, Israel, the US, Australia, France, Britain, Canada and Pakistan. They deal with an array of themes like media, war, Kashmir and cross-border conflict.

One of the films to be screened at the festival is 'It's a boy!' Directed by Vani Subramanian, the film draws light to the issue of sex determination. Ambarien Al Qadar's movie 'Four Women And A Room' is also on a similar theme. It attempts to explore the complexities of motherhood experienced by a woman.  'Two Lives' is based on two women from contrasting socio-economic backgrounds and how they welcome motherhood.
