HP has now expanded the ProBook s-series line with the new HP ProBook 4310s. It is loaded with wireless features and is simple to operate.
Like its predecessors, it is stylish and affordable featuring superior design. It’s most outstanding feature is the unique Fingerprint Sensor which obviates the need to remember login IDs and passwords as the notebook recognizes its user by simply identifying his or her fingerprints as they place the index finger atop a sensor designed for this purpose.

It is truly a business-oriented notebook as it features a dual-array micro-phone for video conferencing in addition to digital/multi-media memory card reader (both SD and MMC) with HDMI input port and DDR support. Also, its uniquely raised single-piece keyboard leaves very little space for dust and grime to gather between the keys.

It features DDR3 system memory which transfers data at twice the rate of the older DDR2 technology thus saving precious time. It also includes a merlot (wine-red) mouse that comes with a mouse pad that serves two additional functions, namely, screen-wipe and screen-protector. HP also offers special cases for the Essential and Professional series which include a top-loader, backpack, messenger, slip case and quick case and designer tote.

One can also plug the notebook to the HP LE1901w and HP LE2201w widescreen LCD business displays for making presentations and seminars more accessible.

On the software front, it includes HP ProtectTools to encrypt your data so that unauthorized users will not be able to access it. The QuickLook feature lets the user check e-mails in a jiffy without having to boot the system first.

It comes in two attractive colors: Merlot and Noir (black) that makes it stand a class apart from other business laptops in the market.

The notebook will be available for a price of around Rs. 40,000.
