The movie is based on famous Ruskin Bond’s short story, ‘Susaanna’s Seven Husbands’. The movie is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj and he found Priyanka Chopra to be perfect for the role after she did ‘What’s Ur Rashee?’and played 12 different characters in the movie.
Vivaan Shah plays the role of the youngest husband and Naseeruddin Shah plays the role of her oldest husband.
