Bollywood beauty, Priyanka Chopra has come forward to support a fund- raising project, ‘Save the Children’ which is launched by fashion brand ‘Bulgari’. The campaign aims to provide quality education to eight million children living in conflict-affected areas. The brand is celebrating its 125 years, for the defence of children's rights.
Priyanka Chopra said, "It goes without saying that children are our future and we need to do whatever it takes to ensure that they have a chance for a better future by educating them and protecting their rights. I'm very proud to be a part of this initiative. I firmly believe that every little step we take will make a difference in the long run”.
Internationally, this campaign is being supported by noted celebrities such as Ben Stiller, Mischa Barton, Terrance Howard and Julianne Moore, among others.
Sotirio Bulgari, the company’s founder specially created a silver ring which had ‘Save the Children’ logo imprinted inside and presented it to the actress.
Sotirio Bulgari said, “What we need in India is for many issues regarding status quo. What we need is someone to challenge the status quo and someone to build awareness and that’s what precisely Priyanka brings to the table in this association.”
