Things are not going that good between the two Bollywood divas - Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. There are reports that Priyanka Chorpa has been squeezed out of a recent movie where she was supposed to share screen with Katrina. 

There was no scope for the second female lead in the film, Abbas-Mustaan stated, "We had never approached Priyanka for any role so there's no question of her not being in the film. Katrina and Abhishek are the only two people signed on for the film. There is scope for a second heroine who has a very good role but we haven't decided yet which actress to approach."

With reference to the same, Priyanka's spokesperson said, "There was no discussion between Priyanka and Abbas-Mustaan about doing a role in The Italian Job. She wasn't approached for it."

 

However, on the other side of the story it is quite different from the above statements, sources added, “Abbas-Mustaan had no choice but to appease Kat, as she was already signed. Priyanka (the National award winning actress) is feeling let down by the director duo but is putting up a brave front by maintaining that she was never approached for the role. A stance adopted by Abbas-Mustaan too as they feel bad about the way the whole thing ended."

 

Katrina seems to look aloof from the whole matter, she stated, "As of now there's nothing final on that film as I am currently sorting out my dates for my films starting now so I haven't even looked into The Italian Job."

 

It is reportedly heard that due to Abhishek Bachchan’s insistence Priyanka Chopra is dropped from the film for refusing to do ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ a film by his friend Rohan Sippy.

 

Sippy defended the allegation upon Abhishek by stating, "Abhishek is a consummate professional, who has never interfered in any part of the creative process on all the films we have worked on, including 'Dum Maaro Dum'.”

 

After Priyanka’s success story of series of awards, retaliation from the rivalry has already started off. Eventually nothing can affect or deviate her path to success for Priyanka is too powerful to be let down so easily.
