Priyadarshan’s upcoming movie, ‘Khatta Meetha’ is a political satire and is an effort to bring out the actual face of politics into picture. He doesn’t worry about the expected responses for the flick.

 

It’s high time when all of us should stop ranting about the corrupt political practices and should actually do something about it.

Priyadarshan has made such an effort through his movie, ‘Khatta Meetha’, he tries to show the real face of politics in a fun way.

There is another controversial track in the movie, ‘Bullshit’ which is based on the dirty politics and expresses the sarcastic views on it in a fun way. The subject matter of the song is shoddy constructions, traffic and slow working.

 

Priyadarshan got inspired from reading an interesting survey report based on construction.

The director says, “ ‘Khatta Meetha ‘is a satire and I was inspired for this movie from an interesting survey I read that exposed that out of the budget allocated for development of infrastructure only 30 per cent is spent on it and the remaining 70 per cent goes into the pockets of different people like politicians, administration etc."

Well, the songs of the movie and its subject matter are bound to invite some rave reviews from the politicians, but in India everyone has freedom to express one’s views.
