According to reports published in UK, Prince William may become king soon, as Prince Charles, father of William does not want to impose the ordeal of a life spent waiting on his son. With the latest development Britain's Prince William has reached one more step closer to sit on throne of England. Factually, Prince William is second -in-line to the throne.
Prince Charles who has spent his life as just that as his mother Queen Elizabeth II still reigns, now, will celebrate his 60th birthday in November. And, as tradition goes, he will become official king of Britain at the advance age of sixty. According to sources, he has spent so much of his life just waiting. He won't impose that on his son, and his stepping out would mean William's closeness towards becoming king of Britain.
Reportedly, Royal courtiers at Buckingham Palace are persuading Prince Charles carve a path for William to become king by setting aside his own candidature. A close aide to Prince Charles on the latest development in Buckingham Palace said that Prince William is at the right age, the right man and it's the right time for the job before his best years are wasted marking time.
