Model turned actress Monica Dogra is having great time these days; she is excited about making her silver screen debut in Kiran Rao`s directorial debut Dhobi Ghat and in addition to it she has found a friend in her co-star Prateik Babbar.
In the movie, Monica will be seen playing the role of Shai, an Indian banker who is on a visit to Mumbai.
"Prateik is my peer, my colleague. He is my age. We listen to the same kind of music, we are interested in the same kind of fashion. So, he is more sort of my partner-in-crime. We are both kind of different and alternatives and reclusive," Monica was quoted as saying.
She added, "We are supporting each other and calling each other every day. I`ve found a really good friend in Prateik. He is going to blow up as a result of this film.”
Dhobi Ghat that also starring Aamir Khan and Kriti Malhotra is about the four characters from different class of society and showcases how the lives of four characters are intertwined
