Actor Prabhu Deva has signalled off his relationship with his wife Ramlath. He has finally settled for the divorce agreement after 15 years of married life and has agreed to give her 10 lakh rupees, 2 cars, and 3 residential properties as compensation to her.

 

In return, Ramlath alias Latha has agreed to give up all the rights and all the claims which she had over the actor. Even she has agreed to forgo with all the cases that she has registered against this famous dance master.

 

The settlement in the court brought an end a fairly complex court battle involving both the above two film stars.

 

Earlier, Prabhu’s wife Latha had registered a case in the Chennai family court. She sought restitution of marital rights with actor Prabhu Deva. She pointed out that Prabhu was having a relationship with an actor. She said that he wasn’t taking care of his own family nor even providing basic minimum monetary assistance to  family members.

 

Pointing out that they had serious differences of opinion, Indian Michael Jackson  Prabhu Deva and his wife Latha, in their joint petition, said it had almost become "very difficult, rather impossible for them to live together or to lead a normal life."
