In honour of Indian martyrs Khudiram Bose and Rajguru, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi unveiled two books based on them on Monday, August 25. The title of the book dedicated to Khudiram Bose is 'Martyr Extraordinaire - Khudiram Bose' and is authored by a faculty member of Santiniketan University, Hitendra Patel.

 

The name of the book based on Rajguru is 'Ajeya Krantikari Rajguru' and it is in Hindi. This book has been penned by lawyer Anil Verma. The book launch ceremony was also attended by the grand nephew of Khudiram Bose, Debasis Roy and of Rajguru, Satyasheel Rajguru. Both these books have been published by Publications Division, the publication wing of I&B ministry.  

 

The release of these books was organized to observe the 100th year of Bose's martyrdom and Rajguru's birth cenetenary. While the boy martyr Khudiram Bose was put to death by the British government on August 11, 1908, Rajguru on the other hand was born on August 24, 1908.
