Porsche will unveil its new Cayenne S Transsyberia car in upcoming Paris Motor Show. The car derives its name from the 7,200 KM intercontinental car rally that takes place between Moscow and the Mongolian Capital of Ulan Bator. Interestingly, Porsche made car Cayenne S has won last three races and commemorating the achievement the firm has put the name.
The car will be based on the standard Cayenne S. It will have an engine of 400bhp 4.8-litre V8. Its torque will be at 369lb-ft, and the 0-62mph an impressive 6.1 seconds. Accordingly, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) have made it well to use it on road. However, on rough roads one needs to have an Off-road Technology Package.
According to Porsche source, the Transsyberia will be available for sale from the month of January next year. The probable price of the car is around £62,000, which according to analysts is a heftier deal in comparison to the Cayenne S and GTS. However, its engine based on Cayenne S with its 4.8-litre V8 naturally-aspirated power unit is highly economical.
