Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistani counterpart YR Gilani in bilateral meeting have concluded to taking initiatives to overcome terrorism in the region. Already, the terrorism was the key focus of the summit and India-Pakistan tried to make it more fruitful with intention to cure the menace of terrorism from the sub-continent.
For India, terrorism has been a big issue, and India has said earlier that Indian terrorists get cross-broader support from Pakistan. While, earlier Indian people and premises were attacked only in India, recently, terrorists blasted Indian embassy in Kabul. With recent attacks in Indian embassy in Kabul, and Bangalore, and Ahemedabad, India wanted to talk with Pak.
Commenting on Kabul blasts, Pak PM Gilani said that Investigations will be carried out into the blast. While, Indian PM showing his grief said that the recent attack on Indian embassy in Kabul and the serial blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad are gruesome reminders of the barbarity that still finds a place here in south Asia.
Pak PM showing his anger over terrorism said that Pakistan has suffered from terrorism, which afflicts all countries of this region, and it has lost a great leader in Benazir Bhutto because of terrorism. The SAARC summit asked for a collective framework to tackle terrorism.
