Sony Computer Entertainment's chairman, Ken Kutaragi is also known as the father of PlayStation consoles. Now, he has started a new company, Cyber Ai Entertainment Inc. to work on cloud computing for entertainment purposes. Former Sony engineer Takashi Usuki will also join with him in this project.
The new venture is aimed at tapping latest talent in network technologies to develop the ways to make entertainment more user friendly. This project is somehow similar to On-Live gaming service, which was revealed at the recently concluded Game Developers Conference 2009.
It is expected that the cloud computing gaming may be merged with the HD video streaming services to make further improvement. Though, it looks heavy on the cloud servers, still the team may be planning the alternatives like accessing those servers through some interface or something else. More to it, they may be planning to stream the data from cloud servers to make things easier.
