Digital camera users have switched preference from CompactFlash cards to the microSD/SDHC cards that are popular among cell-phone users. PhotoFast have announced their solution for this by introducing the CR-7100 microSD/SDHC card adaptor.

It is designed for use in DSLRs with the older CompactFlash slot. This adaptor lets you switch between both the types of cards, CompactFLash and microSD without having to purchase a new camera.

The adaptor supports up to 16GB microSD/SDHC cards. Such cards were compatible only with cell-phones and certain computers until now.

The PhotoFast CR-7100 adaptor is presently available in Japan for a price of Yen 2,980 (approximately Rs. 1,505).
