French car brand Peugeot had introduced its 908 RC full-size sedan concept at the 2006 Paris auto show. Operating on the firm's 700-horsepower Le Mans V12 diesel, the car symbolized luxury and superior performance. At the Paris Auto Show next month, the Peugeot returns again after two years with one more RC concept. But this time, it is going to be a hybrid.

The million dollar question is whether the new RC Hybrid concept to be introduced by Peugeot will prove to be the answer to the increasingly carbon-and energy-obsessed times? Not Really. The truth is that the new Peugeot RC hybrid was converted to a low-fuel low-carbon consuming vehicle, but remains bloated at 313 horsepower.

The company, nevertheless, maintains that the four-door, four-seat will ooze out just 109 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Experts opine that the Peugeot RC hybrid actually is mainly a concept with meager scope of going into manufacturing. As per a statement by the French car brand, the RC is more of 'a working laboratory of many future ideas and brings together numerous stylistic, engineering and technological ideas all in a single vehicle.'
