Peter Andre To Pay Tribute To Michael Jackson
According to sources, singer Peter Andre will be holding a concert to pay tribute to the late pop legend Michael Jackson.
The plans for the concert will be finalized after he will discuss with La Toya, the late pop king’s sister with whom he had been in “regular contact".
"Over the last few weeks I have been in regular contact with La Toya Jackson about some kind of tribute for her brother, Michael. Everyone who knows me knows how much I idolised Michael and how much his music influenced me, so I feel really honoured to be part of this. There isn't anything quite set in stone yet but we have four or five ideas, including a tribute concert or a TV special," Andre said.
"La Toya is flying to the UK next week, so we are going to meet up and hopefully put our ideas into action. La Toya is one of the few Jacksons I haven't met yet, so I am really looking forward to spending some time with her," he added.
The tribute concert has been planned in Schoenbrunn Palace of Vienna, Austria, during September.
The organizers of the concert are World Awards Media GmbH and Jermaine Jackson, MJ’s brother.
There are rumours that U2, Madonna, Lionel Richie and Whitney Houston may also be a part of this tribute concert.
