Hollywood actress and style icon Sharon Stone, who often dons clothes made out of original fur, has been offered a free brain scan by animal rights group, PETA. The organization says it wants to find out if her lack of empathy is the result of a physical defect in her brain. 

To put it more directly, PETA wants to scan her brain to find out if the actress owns a heart too. In a letter addressed to the Basic Instinct star, Ingrid Newkirk, the president of PETA asked Sharon Stone to stop wearing fur and even suggested that the recent atrocious comments she made about the Chinese earthquake could be the fallout of an underdeveloped brain.

The PETA letter though acknowledged Stone as an intelligent woman, it nevertheless also mentioned that she may need to work on her compassionate nature. This PETA letters refers to the recent remarks made by Sharon Stone about the Chinese earthquake publicly. The massive earthquake which claimed the lives of millions of people in China recently and rendered many others homeless was termed as ‘karma’ by Sharon Stone for the ill-treatment the country has been meting out to Tibetans. As such, PETA chiefs feel Stone might be ready to undergo medical tests.
