What will unfurl on Tuesday 22 April in the Pennsylvania primary will play a prominent role in deciding the fate of Democratic presidential hopeful, Hillary Clinton. This is because in the six weeks since the last US primary, Hillary's lead over rival Barack Obama among Pennsylvania voters has gone down significantly. In case Hillary loses to Obama in Pennsylvania, she can very well forget about becoming the first woman president of the USA.
Hyping her foreign policy experience during campaigns, Hillary Clinton said that she came under fire due to deplaning in war-torn Bosnia during a peacemaking trip as the First Lady. But as luck would have it, video clip of this visit featured Hillary being graciously welcomed by kids holding bouquets on the tarmac. Even though it was now too late for apology, Hillary Clinton nevertheless went ahead with it. Admitting it was a mistake, Hillary said that she hoped people would look over it.
Though Hillary Clinton is slightly ahead of Obama in polls in Pennsylvania, National polls show that Democrat voters see her as being not so trustworthy. As per a survey, Obama leads by 10 points as the most electable, whereas 61 per cent hold that Hillary is not really honest. Ebony Meeks, who is the spokeswoman for Hillary's campaign in Pennsylvania, rubbished the poll survey reports as they came up with contradictory reports.
