Spanish Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz is all set to turn blonde for producer-director Pedro Almodovar’s upcoming venture ‘Broken Embraces’. The Vanilla Sky actress will don a platinum blond wig for her role as a struggling actress in the latest film by the Oscar Winning director. Cruz, who is dark haired is set to look absolutely ravishing in her new blonde looks.
Penelope Cruz has already worked with Almodovar in his last film ‘Volver’ in which she played a woman who killed her abusive husband. The film made her the first Spanish woman to be ever nominated in the category of best actress at the Oscars. In Broken Embraces, Penelope will play a would be actress from Spain’s provinces who is pursued by an unscrupulous financier. The film also stars Lluis Homar as a writer who goes blind. The fine Spanish actress has already been rehearsing in Spain for her role in Broken Embrace.
